Waiver of liability
Upon registering with us you will be required to accept our mandatory waiver statement. The following statement applies to all services taken with The Yoga Edge.
‘By ticking below you understand that neither the individual teachers nor The Yoga Edge Limited will be liable for any damage or injury resulting from your practice, nor any loss or damage to personal belongings. You understand that classes may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with the knowledge that there is risk of accident, injury or death. You must not perform any posture to the extent of strain or pain. You recognise that it is your responsibility to notify the teacher of any illness or injury before the start of every session. You must inform the teacher immediately should you not want to be physically adjusted during the session. You understand that due to the nature of hot yoga, surfaces may be slippery and you will take care when moving around the studio. You agree that neither you, your heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against The Yoga Edge, its teachers or its clients for any accident, injury, property loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. If you have provided your phone number we use this to contact you if last minute changes to your booking have to be made for example if a teacher is ill and no replacement can be found at short notice. If you sign up to our introductory offer we may contact you by phone and email to provide support and guidance.’
Hands-on assists
Teachers at The Yoga Edge may apply physical hands on adjustments or use relaxing oils or scents. You must inform the teacher at the beginning of every session should you not want to be physically adjusted in any way.
